To create this painting and others like it I used a process of staining to apply the
acrylic paint into the weaves of the canvas while it was lying flatly. My goal was to
achieve an appearance that suggested watercolor my favorite painting medium.
Blue-Violet Atmosphere inspired my organic forms in my initial proposal of
"Light Dance" which were suspended with an accompanying wall relief.
